Here at People Of the World, our bloggers are researching facts only, not fictions to feed you with. Our goal is to help you grow and discover the genius within you. Thousands of years ago, consciousness was discovered by man and hijacked by few earlier conscious beings. This discovery was the light. The hijackers kept the discovery secret and passed it down within their family for generations and, created illusions to enslave the masses. For thousands of years, the masses lived within these illusions. They know no other way than the anti-civilization way. Graduated at the University of Metaphysics, Christian Nga and the team of People Of the World will write and post facts that will slowly feed your right brain with good food. The life you were meant to live is just one hard decision away. Visist this blog very often.

MIND EXPANSION TRAINING- RAW MATERIAL

INTRODUCTION.
-------------
We need to learn how to use our mind properly. Now days, we are not using our mind, it is using us. Our Mind needs to be the servant of our inner self and not and external authority. Understanding the mental power of the mind that you have and using it can bring you everything you want. Scientists and others say we only use nine to eleven percent of our brains or mental power. Just think how much better your life could be if you learned to use just twenty five percent more of your mental faculties.

To understand the mind, we can divide it into two parts: conscious mind and subconscious mind.

I- The unconscious mind
--------------------

The unconscious mind might be defined as that part of the mind which gives rise to a collection of mental phenomena such as subliminal perception, blindsight, denial of impairment that manifest in a person's mind but which the person is not aware of at the time of their occurrence. These phenomena include unconscious feelings, unconscious or automatic skills, unnoticed perceptions, unconscious thoughts, unconscious habits and automatic reactions, complexes, hidden phobias and concealed desires. Julian Jaynes, a reknown american scientist asserted that, until roughly the times written about in Homer's Iliad, humans did not generally have the self-awareness characteristic of consciousness as most people experience it today.

II- The conscious mind
------------------
"Anything that we are aware of at a given moment forms part of our consciousness, making conscious experience at once the most familiar and most mysterious aspect of our lives."(Max Velmans and Susan Schneider - The Blackwell Companion to Consciousness). Consciousness is a term that has been used to refer to a variety of aspects of the relationship between the mind and the world with which it interacts. It has been defined, at one time or another, as: subjective experience; awareness; the ability to experience feelings; wakefulness; having a sense of selfhood; or as the executive control system of the mind

III- The subconscious mind.
----------------------

"If someone talks of subconsciousness, I cannot tell whether he means the term topographically – to indicate something lying in the mind beneath consciousness – or qualitatively – to indicate another consciousness, a subterranean one, as it were. He is probably not clear about any of it. The only trustworthy antithesis is between conscious and unconscious (Sigmund Freud 1915). Think of the subconscious mind as the storage room of everything that is currently not in your conscious mind; it stores all your previous life experiences, your belief system, your memories, you skills, all situations you've been through, and all images you've ever seen. If the mind storage is full of wrong or negative informations, the mind will be processing wrong or negative informations, the physical result will be wrong and negative.
